Hey there! My name is Alyssa Batsakis (she/her). I am a professional actor, vocalist, artistic director and private acting coach. I also recently founded The Ghostlight Stage Company, a brand new professional theater company and nonprofit arts organization in the Greater Cincinnati area. As a coach and teaching artist, I have over a decade of experience, from teaching at reputable regional theater companies and arts organizations all across America to running my own private coaching business to founding a nonprofit arts organization. I am contracted often by theater companies and schools to come in and teach a range of different theater-focused workshops. I also have training in Social Emotional Learning techniques. With my private studio I specialize in professional audition prep, script analysis, high school & college audition coaching, and "acting through song" techniques for Musical Theater performers.

 

I love meeting fellow actors and helping them to reach their full potential & build their confidence within an industry that tends to shake it. I am my client's biggest cheerleader and I like to coach with a more collaborative approach, where clients can feel inspired to bounce ideas off me as well. My mission is to create a safe, equitable and inclusive learning environment where my clients can be challenged and inspired as they develop their own unique prospectives as artists.

Apart from growing as artists, my clients have gone on to achieve amazing successes from getting the lead in their high school productions to getting into top musical theater college programs to getting cast in professional theater shows, national broadcast commercials, and feature films! I am so proud of the hard work my clients put in, no matter what stage I meet them on in their acting journey.

Coaching sessions start at $45 for a half hour and $55 for an hour if booking for one session. Monthly deals are also available upon request at a lower cost per lesson - inquire below for more details!

Coaching sessions can be done in person in Greater Cincinnati (or case by case might be done in different local high schools for students under 18) or can be done via video conferencing on Zoom. I have had students based in the USA, Israel, Australia, England, Switzerland and more. I love that my students can be based anywhere in the world!
